Getting clean isn't easy. You already know that. Maybe you've been thinking about it for months, or someone who cares about you won't stop bringing it up. At our alcohol detox center in Brooklyn, we get calls every day from people who are tired, scared, and just want their life back.
That's where we come in. We're not here to judge what brought you to this point. We're here because we've seen people turn their lives around, and we know you can too.
Here's how it works at Urban Recovery. If your body depends on alcohol or drugs, you'll start with medical detox. Our doctors keep you stable and manage the withdrawal symptoms so you're not white-knuckling it alone. From there, most people move into our inpatient program.
You'll live here for a few weeks, go to therapy, talk to counselors who actually get it, and figure out what's been driving your addiction. Once you're ready to go home but still need backup, our outpatient program keeps you accountable while you rebuild your life. We adjust everything based on what you need, not some cookie-cutter plan.
Our place is right on the water in Red Hook. You can see the Statue of Liberty from the roof. It's quiet here, which helps when you need space to think. The building is brand new, clean, and doesn't feel like a hospital. You get your own room, decent food, and staff who actually care whether you're doing okay.
People work here because they want to help, not because they're just collecting a paycheck. You'll notice the difference.
We're licensed by OASAS and CARF certified. What that means for you is that insurance usually covers treatment here, our staff knows what they're doing, and we can't cut corners on your care. We have to follow strict standards, which protects you and makes sure you're getting real treatment that works.
Red Hook Houses is a public housing community right on the Brooklyn waterfront. People here have lived through tough times and know what it means to struggle. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years, but it's still got that tight community feel where neighbors know each other.
You're close to the water, close to the city, and in a part of Brooklyn that's got real character.
Call us at (646) 347-1892 or email admissions@urbanrecovery.com. Talk to someone on our intake team. Ask whatever questions you've got. We'll tell you straight what treatment looks like, what insurance covers, and how soon you can start. You've put this off long enough. Make the call today.
